Damascus, SANA- The weather will be moderate and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a moderate and wet air mass.
Various amounts of rainfalls were registered Sunday in the northern and central areas, the heaviest of which was in the central Hama province 38mm.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that local rain showers accompanied by thunder sometimes will fall over the eastern and al-Jazeera areas, and the temperatures will slightly rise, yet they will remain below average.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly moderate with a light speed and the height of the sea waves will be medium.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly rise to become around average.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/21, Aleppo 34/21, Homs 32/19, Lattakia 33/23 and Hama 36/21.
