Syria, Lebanon discuss cooperation against terrorism

Beirut, SANA-Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil discussed on Monday with Syria’s Ambassador in Beirut Ali Abdul-Kareem the latest developments in the region and bilateral relations.

“The meeting comes in the framework of regular consultation and coordination between Syria and Lebanon, particularly in the existence of a lot of mounting challenges to confront terrorism which poses threat to the two countries,” Abdul-Kareem said in a statement following the meeting.

He added terrorism requires full coordination between the two governments and armies to defeat it.
