Syrian Phoenix campaign opens centers for selling food at half price

Damascus Countryside, SANA – Participating Syrian Expatriates in “the Syrian Phoenix” campaign, in cooperation with Damascus Countryside Governorate, opened centers for selling food at half price for supporting national products and contributing to offering the best quality and prices to costumers.

“The Syrian Phoenix” campaign works through overt intervention of the expatriates to support the national products and provide the best quality and prices of goods with the aim of consolidating the steadfastness of the Syrian people.

The centers opened in the towns of Jdeidet Artouz, Qudsaya Suburb, al-Tal and Jeba’deen, with more centers to open during the next week so the number of centers would reach 14.

Dr. Nisreen Zreiq, a co-founder of the campaign, told SANA that the campaign lasts for a year and food centers will open in other provinces as Hama, Tartous and Homs.

The employees of the campaign centers were chosen among the injured of the Syrian army, housewives, university students or disabled persons, as Thursdays are specified for families of martyrs.
Head of a center, Nariman Midani said different sorts of food are available at the centers as rice, beans, milk and others, lauding the solidarity of the expatriates with their fellow citizens inside the country.

The second phase of “The Syrian Phoenix” public intervention sessions to support Syrian pound (Lira) started on 25th of May by the Syrian expatriates.
