Hasaka, SANA – Hasaka Governor Mohammad Za’al al-Ali stressed on Sunday that the students are determined to successfully continue their final exams, with their will unshaken by the terrorists’ attempts to intimidate them into dropping out.
During a tour to an exam center where 12th grade students are taking final exams, al-Ali said this determination by the students of Hasaka and those of the rest of the provinces gives a message that Syria’s enemies’ attempts to “extinguish the light of knowledge and progress” in the country are doomed to failure.
Secretary of Hasaka branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Khalaf al-Mhashem, who accompanied the Minister on his tour, stressed that the exams, which started last week, are going on well at all centers in the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli.
The education process in the northeastern province has continued in defiance of the terrorists’ repeated attempts recently to launch attacks on the city of Hasaka.
Around 20,000 students are currently taking their final exams of the Secondary School at 158 exam centers spread all over Hasaka and Qamishli cities.
The number of students taking final exams all over Syria is 230 thousand students.
