Al-Mikdad: Syria is open to any thoughts and consultations

Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal al-Mikdad affirmed Wednesday that while Syria doesn’t speak about Geneva 3 consultations, it is open to any thoughts provided but not being on the expenses of the Syrians’ blood and terrorism’s spread in the region.

“It is necessary to hold consultations with the countries backing terrorism because any consultations have no value without putting an end to terrorism”, al-Mikdad during an interview with the Syrian TV.

He added that Syria will triumph thanks to Syrian’s steadfastness who are going to make remarkable changes.

“Syria will triumph in spite of difficulties and the destiny of the region and world will be determined according to what is going to happen in Syria’ Mikdad added.

Syrian people want to end this battle as soon as possible, but the enemies’ policies, particularly Turkey which has been sending through the four years crisis terrorists to Syria, prevented this from happening, he said.

Deputy Foreign and Expatriates minister added that the Syrian government is working to disclose the intentions and practices of the countries backing terrorism, asserting that Syria has succeeded in unmasking the Saudi and Turkey and showing up their goals.

Mikdad affirmed that Syria’s relations with its allies such as Iran and Russia are strategic and will affect the developments of the events.
