Sao Paulo, SANA – Syrian athlete Mohammad Khaled Mohammad won a second gold medal at the 2015 Paralympics Athletics and Swimming Open Championships in Brazil.
Mohammad won the new medal in the shot-put event with a world record of 13.60 meters.
His previous gold medal was won in the javelin throw event, setting a world record of 43.05 meters.
Mohammad has several international medals to his name, including 4 gold and two silver medals in shot-put and javelin in the athletics competitions held in February in the UAE, in addition to winning the world championship in shot-put in France in 2013.
