Iran demands to hold Israel accountable for its crimes

The Hague-SANA- Iran’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Hadi Farajvand, in a letter to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Saturday demanded to take immediate action against the crimes committed by Zionist regime.

Farajvand pointed to the recent attacks of this regime that killed and injured thousands of civilians in Lebanon and called for immediate action to prevent repetition of these crimes.

He emphasized that the Zionist regime has continued to commit genocide and war crimes in Gaza for a year with the full support of the USA and other countries and has now expanded its war to Lebanon.

The Iranian Ambassador stressed that the recent crimes of this regime in Lebanon, which have been widely committed against civilians, are clear examples of crimes against humanity, clearing that these barbaric acts are a serious threat to peace and security in the region and the world.

It is important of global action to stop the violations of human rights by the Zionist regime and provide justice for the victims of these attacks and called for the unity of the international community against these injustices and support for human rights and human dignity, the Ambassador underlined.
