Tehran, SANA- – The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s military aggression on Syria and demanded serious action at the regional and international levels to stop these aggressions and hold the occupying regime accountable.
Ismail Baqaei in a press statement pointed to the continuation of the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, the widespread aggression against Lebanon, and the repeated military attacks on Syria by the Israeli regime.
“The continuation of this situation and the inaction of the United Nations Security Council against the warmongering of the Israeli regime caused a serious breach of peace and stability in the region and serious consequences for international peace and security,” Bagaei said.
He considered the Israeli aggression against Islamic and Arab countries as a sign of the inherent belligerence and expansionism of this regime and emphasized the responsibility of the United States and other Western supporters of the regime in committing acts against international law and international crimes of the Israeli regime.
