Provinces, SANA – Army units continued on Wednesday to strike foreign-backed terrorists in many areas across the country, killing numbers of them, wounding others, and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
Aleppo
Army units killed many terrorists and destroyed their ammo and vehicles all along Hreitan-Dweir al-Zaitoun-Hayyan axis during intensive operations in the area.
Another army unit killed many terrorists and seized an armored vehicle they were using in the area surrounding Tal Jbeen village to the north of Handarat, which came under the army’s control few days ago.
Operations against terrorist groups operating under Jabhat al-Nusra continued, where many terrorists were killed and their vehicles, ammunition and weapons were destroyed in al-Mansoura on the road to Daret Izza in the western countryside of Aleppo and in Hadadin in Jabal Samaan area to the south of Aleppo.
Daraa
A number of terrorist organizations’ self-claimed leaders were killed on Wednesday as the army destroyed their den in Salmin town in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, according to a military source.
An army unit, the source told SANA, foiled a terrorists’ attack on the villages of al-Jidieh and Qita in the northwestern countryside of the province. An armored vehicle and a heavy machine gun-equipped vehicle which the terrorists used in their attack were destroyed.
The army also destroyed two hideouts, killing all the terrorists inside, in the area around Kafar Shams and the area between Jassem and al-Nemer villages in Daraa western countryside.
In al-Lajat area, an army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups affiliated to it in the villages of Maaret al-Beida and Sakera.
In continued operations in Daraa city, the army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed a vehicle loaded with weapons and ammunition in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood.
ِA military source said an Army unit destroyed a vehicle belonging to terrorist organizations loaded with weapons and ammunition in the area surrounding al-Shomra village in the northeast countryside of Daraa.
Idleb
Units of the army and armed forces targeted gatherings and dens of terrorists’ organizations in al-Habeit, Rekaya Sejma, al-Naqeer, Arnaba, Sheikh Mustafa, Koncerwa Factory surroundings, south Maaret Mesreen, and the surrounding of central prison of Idleb province countryside on Wednesday, a military source told SANA.
Other units targeted terrorists gatherings in the surroundings of Idleb the city, north Fallion, Oil Factory east of Idleb, Quminas, Insha’at, Saraqeb, Benesh, Sarmin, east Afes, Kafar Jalaes and Bakaloon, the source added.
The army operations resulted in killing tens of terrorists, destroying many of their dens, 4 armored vehicles as well as 7 vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.
Earlier in the day, army units killed a number of terrorists at east and south of Idleb city, and at south of Kafar Jales, Arab Said and Tal A’as in the countryside of Idleb Province, according to a military source.
Other units killed dozens of terrorists in many areas near Idleb city and in Brouma farms, Arab Saeed and Qaminas, while other units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings in Maarat Masarin, Saraqeb, Sarmin, Kifr Jalis, Binnesh and near Idleb Prison.
Damascus countryside
The army established control on a number of posts in the surroundings of al-Mishrfeh in al-Qalamoun mountains after destroying several dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.
SANA field reporter said an army unit directed heavy strikes against dens of terrorists in Joubar and Zamalka in Damascus countryside.
In al-Shefouniyeh to the north-eastern part of Douma, the army killed a number of terrorists, among them Saleh al-Barakeh from Morocco and Nizar al-Shagher of Palestinian nationality.
Qunaitera
The army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Um Batneh, Dawar al-Nabe’e al-Sakher in Qunaitera countryside.
Hama
In Hama province, units of the army and armed forces destroyed many vehicles with terrorists inside them in om Haratein, Qleib, al-Rakila, Maklah al-Wedeihi, Maklah Jeni al-Elbawi, Abu Hebeilat and Ekeirbat in the countryside of Hama province.
Earlier Wednesday, army units killed a number of terrorist organizations’ members and injured others in the villages of Aydoon, Abu Hanaya and Tawtah in the countryside of the province.
Homs
In Homs province, army units killed many members of takfiri terrorist organizations in the northeast of Palmyra city and the villages of Gebab Hamad and Um Sahrij in the countryside of the province of Homs.
