Tehran, SANA- Iranian President-elect Pezeshkian pledged to achieve achievements, overcome obstacles, and make Iran a prosperous country, calling on everyone to unite for the sake of the homeland.
Pezeshkian said in a speech to the Iranian people during his visit today to the shrine of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran: “I will place the votes of the Iranian people as a covenant around my neck, and I did not make any false promises during the election period and I did not say anything that I cannot fulfill or that later turns out to have been untrue.”.
He expressed his hope that Parliament would harmonize with the next government in working to overcome obstacles, stressing that he will continue to walk on the path of the martyrs to achieve the country’s prosperity.
