246 food packages distributed to residents of Yarmouk Camp Saturday

Damascus, SANA- Supported by the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) on Saturday distributed packages of humanitarian aid to residents of Yarmouk Camp which is besieged by terrorist organizations.

Director-General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA that 246 food baskets along with bread and sugar was distributed in al-Tadamon neighborhood, adding that 3,340 food packages have been distributed since March 5th of 2015.

He highlighted that 59,370 food baskets and 11,618 health packages have been distributed in the Camp since January 30th 2014, adding that 6 patients were evacuated the Camp to Damascus hospitals, bringing the number of evacuated patients since February 2014 to 4,696.
