Partly cloudy weather, rain showers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers in southern region, parts of central region and al-Badia and it will be cold at night over mountains, warning against the formation of fog in the central region, Qalamoun and Damascus countryside during the early morning hours.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly between low to moderate in speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperature in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27 / 19, Homs 29 / 17, Lattakia 31 / 21, Tartous 32 / 22 and Aleppo 29/16 29 / 17.
