Russian army thwarts a terrorist attack by Ukrainian regime on Crimea

Moscow, SANA The Russian army thwarted on Saturday dawn a terrorist attack carried out by the Ukrainian regime on areas in the Crimea, and managed to destroy and down 25 Kiev drones.

“An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Peninsula by 25 drones was thwarted, as 16 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems fire, and 9 other Ukrainian drones were disabled through electronic warfare,” The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement published on its website.

The statement added the foiled terrorist attack caused no casualties or damage to the Russian side.

Last Monday, the Russian defense announced that it had foiled Ukrainian attempt to carry out an attack using 17 drones on targets in the Crimea.
