Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will rise to become from 5 to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by western subtropical air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
“The weather will be very hot, skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds in the coastal region, it will be misty and dusty in the eastern, al-Jazera and al-Badia regions with a high humidity, especially in the coastal, western and northwestern regions,” said Meteorology Department on Saturday.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly in the southern and southeastern regions, while it will be westerly to northwesterly in other regions, with low to a moderate speed, the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 42/28, Daraa 42/23, Homs 38/25, Hasaka46/10, Tartous 34/25, Aleppo 40/27, Deir Ezzor 47/33.
