St. Petersburg, SANA- With the presence of Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and a number of African states leaders, celebration of Russian Navy Day started in St. Petersburg city
‘Putin congratulates the warships crews on the Navy Day’, RT website quoted Russian presidency, Kremlin, as saying in a statement Sunday.
The parade included land and sea displays, with participation of 45 ships, boats and Submarines, in addition to 3,000 soldiers, according to the statement
The statement stated that the parade will end with a festive display for military parade crews, students of pre-university education institutions of the Russian Navy, and naval vanguards, and naval displays will be held in the most prominent Russian ports.
