Finals of National Championship for Robotics launches in Homs

Homs, SANA- With participation of 55 qualified teams, the finals of National Championship for Robotics, held by Syrian Scientific Olympiad at the Excellence and Creativity commission, launched Thursday at the National Center for Excellence in Homs.

The participating teams in the championship, which lasts for July 27th, are classified as 18 teams from private clubs, 15 teams from public schools, 9 teams from civil associations, 3 teams from private universities, 3 teams from private schools, two teams from public universities, and 5 teams from orphanages.

Head of Scientific Committee for Robotics in the Excellence and Creativity Commission of the Syrian Science Olympiad, Dr. Moheeb Al-Naqry, said in a statement to SANA that at the finals, the two best teams will be crowned at the level of Syria, in preparation for participating in the World Robot Olympiad, which will be held in Panama next November under the title “linking the world”.
