Damascus, SANA- Minister of Industry, Abdul Qader Jokhadar, discussed with Chargé d’Affairs of the Indian Embassy in Damascus, Vijay Pandey means to enhance relations of joint cooperation between Syria and India in various industrial and economic fields.
During the meeting, Minister Jokhadar stressed the need to develop promising investment opportunities between the two countries and provide all facilitations that contributes to increasing the volume of investments and trade exchanges, in addition to various programs related to the industrial and economic aspects.
In turn, Pandey expressed his confidence that joint work aiming at strengthening relations and developing trade and industrial exchange with Syria will continue in a way that achieves bilateral aspirations and ambitions.
Talks during the meeting also dealt with cooperation in the fields of developing the capabilities of human cadres in the Ministry of Industry and developing its accumulated experiences through training scholarships, and the localization of advanced technological industries and pharmaceutical industries, which would develop ways of trade exchange between India and Syria.
