“Hands off Syria” group: embargo on Syria is crime against humanity

Vienna, SANA- “Hands off Syria” group demanded Thursday the removal of all unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, saying the embargo violates basic human rights and all international laws.

“Sanctions are not only breach to the international law, but they are a war crime and a crime against humanity,” the group said in a statement handed to the EU Commission office in Vienna.

The group called for immediate removal of the sanctions and economic war against Syria.
