Milan, SANA – The most specialized exhibition in manufacturing leather in Europe Lineapelle kicked off on Wednesday in the Italian city of Milan with the participation of Syria.
Lineapelle is one of the biggest exhibitions in the world and many well-known global companies participate in it.
The exhibits include leather products, accessories, bags, shoes and leather manufacturing machines, Samir al-Shami, member of the Board of Directors of the Syrian Exporters Federation told SANA.
Al-Shami noted that Syria is participating with six companies specialized in leather industries, highlighting the role of the Federation in providing facilitations and financial support and helping in overcoming all the difficulties that the participating companies might face.
He said the Syrian pavilion has already attracted many visitors who expressed their liking for the exhibits.
The exhibition is scheduled to continue until February 27th.
