Abu Dhabi, SANA – Member of the national team for athletics Mohammad Khaled al-Mohammad won on Wednesday a golden medal for shot put within al-Ain International Forum for Athletics. The competition is the first step in the framework of a series of international championships.
Mohammad recorded 12.28 meters to make his first achievement for this year abroad, while a Jordanian player ranked second and a Greek athlete ranked third.
Al-Mohammad, who gained three gold medals and a sliver last year, is to participate in the completion of javelin today.
The national team also consists of the athletes Bassam Sawsaq, Alaa Abdul-Salam and Abdul-Halim al-Baker.
