Syrian- Emirati talks on promoting cooperation in agriculture domain

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Mohammed Hassan Qatana, discussed Thursday with Chargé d’ affairs of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Damascus, Counselor Abdul Hakim Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi, Prospects for future cooperation in agriculture and agricultural trade.

Qatana, meeting the ambassador at the ministry building, stressed the importance of boosting the relations and realizing the integration in the agriculture production among the Arab states and organizing the work ,along with setting a joint plan to identify products each state needs according the standard specifications.

Ministry Qatana noted that the climate conditions in Syria are ideal for all  agricultural products which are good and desirable.

The minister reviewed the most important agricultural investment projects set by the ministry ,as well as the facilitations offered to the investors.
