31 new Covid-19 cases, two fatalities reported in Syria on Friday

Damascus, SANA- 31 New Covid-19 cases, 118 recoveries and 2 deaths were reported in Syria on Friday, Health Ministry said.

Till now, the total number of infections registered in Syria has reached up to 50,641, of which 34,194 have recovered while 2,941 have passed away, according to a statement by the ministry.

On March 22^nd , 2020, the first coronavirus case was detected in Syria in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on March 29th, 2020.
