Relatively cold weather, showers expected

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over several regions, specifically over the coastal region, while at night, the weather will be relatively cold over the mountains, according to Tuesday bulletin of the Meteorology Department.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to a moderate speed, while it will be southwesterly in the southern region with some active gusts, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

The bulletin added that the expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/12, Daraa 24/11, Homs 24/13, Hasaka 26/4, Tartous 26/17, Aleppo, Deir Ezzor 27/14.
