The army units also worked on removing remnants of the explosives,  in order to preserve the lives of civilians and pave the way  for the return of state institutions to the area .

Over the last weeks, army units reinforced their positions in many cities, towns and villages in  Daraa northwestern countryside, in al-Yarmouk Basin area and the northern countryside, hours  after these areas  joined the settlement agreement proposed by the State last August .
