Temperatures to drop, showers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet still remain above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeastern direction and accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department, in its Thursday bulletin, expected that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while over the night hours, the skies will be cloudy over the northwestern regions with a chance for showers.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with low to a moderate speed, and with active gusts at night, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/19, Daraa 35/19, Homs 32/19, Hasaka 39/24, Tartous 31/23, Idleb 32/20, Deir Ezzor 3925.
