Foreign intervention prolongs crisis in Syria, Czech Newspaper says

Prague, SANA- ‘’The continuation of foreign interference in Syria would prolong the crisis in it and increase the suffering of its people’’, Czech Newspaper, Lidové noviny said.

In an article posted on the newspaper’s website, Journalist Vet Stiepanek said “some regional and international powers are trying without any consideration to impose their geopolitical interests”, adding “Geopolitically speaking, the West was defeated in Syria.”

 Earlier, Former Czech Prime Minister, Jiri Paroubek said ‘’The Western countries have played a subversive role in Syria, and have supplied terrorists in the country with weapons’’, adding that the policy of these countries and the Turkish regime has caused a huge humanitarian crisis for the Syrians.
