A new well added to Alouk water project in Hasaka countryside

Hasaka, SANA- The General Establishment for Drinking Water in Hasaka Governorate has introduced a new well, of Alouk water project, raising the number of operating wells in the project to 19 ones.

Director of the Establishment, Mahmoud al-Oukla, told SANA reporter that maintenance operations in Alouk project, which are carried out in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross, continue to repair the wells and mechanical and electrical equipment in the station.

He added that the situation water supplied to the subscribers in Hasaka is stable and regular in terms and the quantities of water produced from the project on a daily basis mount to about 80 thousand cubic meters.
