Temperatures to drop, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to drop to become around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy over most regions, and the rains will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, and snow will fall over the high mountains.

 The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:  Damascus 9/14, Daraa8/14, Homs 9/13, Hasaka 7/14, Idleb 8/11 and Lattakia ,13/18.
