Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus has claimed the lives of 1, 354,821 people worldwide since its appearance in December last year, according to the American website of Worldometers.
The website added that the number of the global coronavirus infections has amounted to 56, 564,475 while the number of the recoveries has reached up to 39, 352,858.
In Mexico, the Health Ministry has recorded 3,918 new coronavirus infections and 502 new fatalities as the total number of infections has climbed to a million and 15071 while the death toll reached 99528.
Meanwhile, Germany has registered 22609 new coronavirus cases and 251 deaths, raising the total number of infections to 855,916, while the deaths climbed to 13,370.
In China, the National Committee for Health has announced the registration of 12 new coronavirus cases yesterday, indicating that all the cases came from abroad.
The total number of the confirmed coronavirus cases in China has reached up to 86,381 while the number of the fatalities is still 634.
