Electricity restored to villages affected by fires in Qardaha countryside

Lattakia, SANA- Workshops of the General Electricity Company of Lattakia Governorate have restored electricity to all the villages on the axis of Bait Zantut- Joubat Burghal in Qardaha countryside which were affected by the fires that broke out in the area, causing huge damage to the vegetation cover, infrastructure and citizens’ properties.

 Director of the Electricity Company, Eng. Fadi Saud, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the company’s workshops are continuing to repair with the damage caused by the fires that hit a number of villages and regions in Lattakia countryside and have restored electricity to the villages of Bait Zantut, al-Bour, al-Erizah, Joubat Burghal, Zeino, al-Khirbeh, Mlikh, Malloukh, Ananib al-Maysa, al-Qareer, Nabi’a al-Qash and al-Joufiya after exerting great efforts by the workers.

Saud pointed out that the works were accompanied by erecting medium voltage towers instead of the burnt ones and the installation of networks as the workshops have erected 4 medium voltage towers on the axis of Bait Zantut, and two towers on the axis of Naqquru and a tower on the axis of Yarta, in addition to three iron towers on al-Fakhoura axis, confirming that work is underway until restoring the electricity to all affected areas.
