Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus “Covid-19” has claimed the lives of 883771 around the world since its appearance last December.
According to new statistics by Worldometer website which is run by an international team of developers and researchers 27069726 confirmed cases have been recorded worldwide, while the death toll climbed to 883771 and while 19170299 patients have recovered.
In Brazil, the Health Ministry mentioned that 30,168 infections have been recorded and 682 deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours bringing the total number of coronavirus cases to 4.1 million while the death toll amounted to 126203.
Brazil currently has the second largest number of infections and deaths from the virus in the world, after the United States.
Meanwhile, in Mexico, the Health Ministry announced that it has registered 6319 new confirmed cases and 475 deaths of the virus taking the total number of infections in the country to 629409 while the death toll reached up to 67326.
In Germany, 988 new coronavirus cases have been registered according to data of Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases bringing the total number of infections in the country to 249985.
The Institute indicated that one death of the virus was recorded as the death toll reached up to 9325.
In China, the National Health Committee announcing registering 10 new coronavirus cases in the Chinese Mainland.
