Aleppo, SANA- The eastern countryside of Aleppo is rich with abundant yields of various crops, which constitute an integrated food basket of various grains and vegetables.
The peasants have cultivated the region again after liberating their areas from terrorism and securing services and water.
In the village of Duerineh at Maskaneh Project, farmer Hamidi al-Ayed, after returning to his town from which he was displaced at the hands of terrorists, is planting the summer season of vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, pepper, and beans, to meet his needs and market the surplus of the crops to the markets
The agricultural lands are irrigated through the irrigation networks and channels of Maskaneh agricultural project, which covers an area of more than 17 thousand hectares.
