Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will notably drop to become around average or slightly lower in some areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday morning bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and showers will fall over al-Jazeera region during the day and over the coastal region at night while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed to active and its speed in the southern region will reach up to 60 km/h while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/13, Daraa 31/13, Homs 25/12, Lattakia 25/18, Aleppo 29/15 and Deir Ezzor 43/21.
