Army uncovers tunnels and underground bases while combing areas west of Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA – Syrian Arab Army units began wide-scale combing operations in the areas liberated from terrorism in Aleppo’s western and southwestern countryside, uncovering tunnels, trenches, and and fortified bases for terrorists in Dahret Abdrabu and the western ring road in the western countryside.

SANA’s reporter accompanying army units during the combing operations said engineering units are dismantling the IEDs and landmines left behind by terrorists, finding tunnels, trenches, and underground bases that terrorists had dug beneath buildings after they displaced locals from their homes.

The tunnels also contained weapons and ammo left behind by terrorists.
