Damascus, SANA_ Under the title of “No to the Deal of the Century”, a massive rally was held Friday in Damascus to mark the International al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day.
The rally set off from the entrance of al-Hamidiyeh ancient market towards the Umayyad Mosque.
The participants stressed that al-Quds is the eternal and historical capital of Palestine and that the Israeli occupation is to be eliminated no matter how long it lasts.
They condemned the US President Donald Trump’s declarations on al-Quds and the occupied Syrian Golan.
The participants stressed that these declarations will not change the historical and geographical facts that the occupied Syrian Golan is an integral part of the Syrian territories and that al-Quds is an Arab city that was and will ever remain the capital of Palestine despite all attempts by the Israeli occupation entity and its supporters.
They condemned the criminal practices of the Israeli occupation forces and the systematic Judaization operations carried out by the occupation authorities in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in the occupied city of al-Quds, highly appreciating the stances of the Syrian leadership and people in support of the Palestinian cause alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran and the axis of resistance.
