Qasad militia opens fire on demonstrations demanding its expulsion from Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA-US-backed Qasad Militia on Sunday fired live bullets at the locals who demonstrated on Sunday in the villages of Deir Ezzor in condemnation of  the militia’s practices demanding its expulsion from their areas.

Local sources said that since early morning, hundreds of locals in towns and villages of al-Bosaira, Masheikh, al-Daman, al-Namlyia, Tayyeb al-Fal and al-Tayyanieh in Deir Ezzor eastern and southeastern countryside demonstrated demanding the expulsion of Qasad militia from their areas due to the spread of chaos, abduction and killing, in addition to monopolizing oil by this militia and the companies it deals with.

The sources indicated that the demonstrators closed the main roads and burnt tires, reiterating their demand to expel Qasad Militia and to seize its arms.

The sources noted that gunmen from Qasad Militia fired live bullets at the locals in al-Tayyanieh village randomly in a desperate attempt to disperse the angry demonstrators.

Over the past day, popular protests against US-backed Qasad Militia expanded as they reached areas in Deir Ezzor countryside where this militia spreads, meanwhile gunmen from Qasad Militia fired live bullets randomly on demonstrators causing the injury of a number of them.
