Low air pressure continues, heavy rainfalls in different provinces

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise, yet they will remain from 6 to 10 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will remain partially cloudy to cloudy and rainy as rains will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, particularly in the northwestern and al-Jazeera area.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

Various amounts of rainfalls have been registered in the Syrian provinces as follows: Hama 200 mm, Tartous 10 0mm, Lattakia 56 mm,  Hasaka 26 mm, Aleppo 24 mm, Raqqa 20mm, Damascus and its countryside 17 mm, Sweida 17mm, Idleb 16mm,  Daraa 8 mm, Quneitra 30 mm and Homs 22 mm.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14-6, Daraa 14-6, Homs 15-7, Lattakia 17-12, Aleppo 14-6 and Deir Ezzor 17-6.
