Grospic: US doesn’t have any right to decide fate of occupied Syrian Golan

Prague, SANA-Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic asserted that US President Donald Trump’s statements on the occupied Syrian Golan represent a blatant violation of the international law, in addition to being criminal and ridiculous statements.

Grospic, in a statement to SANA reporter on Monday, said that the “US doesn’t have any right to decide the fate of the occupied Syrian Golan or any Syrian land or to decide the future of the Syrian people.”

He affirmed that the stance of Trump’s administration doesn’t only represent a flagrant violation of the international law, but it also represents a clear approval on stealing a part of the Syrian territories and an attempt to legitimize 25 years of the Israeli occupation of the Syrian Golan.

Grospic noted that the US has contributed to creating Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization and many terrorist groups in Syria and outside it, meanwhile, the Israeli occupation entity, over the years of the crisis, has provided all aspects of support to them.
