Turkish forces bombard civilians’ houses in Afrin area

Aleppo, SANA- The Turkish regime and its mercenaries have escalated their aggression against Afrin area in northern Aleppo, in a new violation of the UN Security Council resolution no.2401 on stopping combat activities in Syria for 30 days.

Local sources told SANA that Turkish forces and their affiliated terrorist groups bombarded a number of villages in Rajo and Maabatli in Afrin area, causing massive material damage to the houses.

The sources added that the humanitarian situation in the area of Afrin is getting worse due to Turkish assault on the villages of Afrin.

More than 730 civilians were martyred or injured due to the continuous Turkish aggression on the Afrin area in addition to the displacement of thousands of civilians from their homes, the suspension of education in hundreds of schools, and the destruction of infrastructure and services.
