Transport Minister, Belarus Ambassador discuss agreements signed by the two countries

Damascus, SANA – Transport Minister Ghazwan Kheir Bek discussed with Ambassador of Belarus in Damascus Alexander Ponomarev the agreements signed by the two countries and means to implement them, particularly those related to railway and aerial transportation.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of benefiting from Belarus’ expertise in the field of transport and tenders related to railway transportation.

Kheir Bek said that Syria is committed to the agreements signed with Belarus, including one on land transport and facilitating the movement of good and passenger, the tripartite agreement with Belarus, Venezuela, and Russia, and the one on aerial transport.

For his part, Ponomarev said that Belarus is prepared to offer aid and support in the field of transport, noting that his country has considerable experience in the field of railway transportation and the manufacturing locomotives.
