Damascus, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad discussed with Mahfouz Wild Aziz, chairman of the Mauritanian socialist democratic unionist party, the situation in Syria in light of the terrorist war waged on it, and the Arab weakness resulted by the support of some Arab Gulf states to the Israeli entity.
During the meeting, Mikdad affirmed that the terrorist unjust war, to which Syria is exposed, was because of its national stances in support of the Palestinian cause, affirming that Syria will defeat terrorism.
Wild Aziz, fir his part, hailed the heroism of the Syrian people and leadership in the face of the unjust war, launched by terrorist organizations which are backed by western states, Turkey, Qatar and Israel.
He strongly criticized the stances of some Arab countries which support terrorism, particularly Saudi Arabia, affirming his country’s support to the Syrian people.
