Security Council condemns terrorist attack on citizens of Kafrya and al-Foua’a

New York, SANA-UN Security Council strongly condemned on Tuesday the brutal terrorist attack that hit al-Rashideen area in Aleppo.

Members of the UNSC, in a statement, expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the victims’ families and to the Syrian people, affirming that terrorism, with all its forms, is one of the most dangerous threats to the international security and peace.

They added that any terrorist acts are criminal ones, regardless of their motives or perpetrators, calling for bringing supporters of terrorism into justice.

Terrorists detonated on Saturday a car bomb in an area that gathers buses and ambulances in Al-Rashideen region in West Aleppo to transport nearly 5,000 citizens from the terror-besieged towns of Kafraya and al-Foua’a, claiming the lives of more than 120 children and women and injuring hundreds.
