Russian warships launch cruise missiles on sites of Jabhat al-Nusra in Aleppo

Moscow, SANA-The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday that two Russian warships launched three Kalibr cruise missiles from the Mediterranean Sea on the sites of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Syria.

The ministry said in a statement that the missiles destroyed a command center and a terrorists’ base in Darrit Ezza area and a plant that used to produce mortar ammunition and a large arms depot in Aleppo.

The ministry added that according to objective monitoring data the elimination of the planned targets was confirmed, adding that for the security of civilians, the flight path of the cruise missiles was planned over uninhabited territories.
