Relief subcommittee discusses relief efforts in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA – Local Administration Minister and head of the Higher Committee for Relief Hussein Makhlouf asserted the government’s commitment to dedicating all available resources to providing the needs of the people who leave the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city.

Chairing the relief subcommittee meeting on Saturday evening, Makhlouf said that the Higher Committee is focusing all its resources to support Aleppo and provide the needs of locals, stressing that all state establishments in Aleppo must work together to accommodate the families that leave the eastern neighborhoods from the moment they reach safe corridors.

For his part, Health Minister Nizar Yazigi said the ministry is working to provide medical services to the people leaving the eastern neighborhoods, including checkups, emergency procedures, treatment, and surgeries, adding that the ministry is committed to providing medical shipments to Aleppo on constant basis.

In turn, Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Ulabi reviewed the relief efforts exerted by the Governorate, particularly for receiving people from the eastern neighborhoods.
