Provinces, SANA- The Army units, backed by the air force, on Tuesday continued chasing the terrorists across the country, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their positions and weaponry.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian army air force targeted the ISIS hideouts and movement axes in al- Mraieiyeh village, about 10km southeast of Deir Ezzor city.
A military source told SANA Tuesday that the army destroyed a number of the ISIS vehicles, killing and injuring a number of its members.
Later, army units destroyed in special operations ammunition depot and a position for ISIS terrorists in Ayash village, 12 km west of Deir Ezzor city, a field source said.
In Deir Ezzor city, an army unit targeted the hotbeds and movements of vehicles for ISIS terrorists, destroying 7 vehicles equipped with various machineguns on the 7th km circle area.
A 40m- length tunnel for ISIS terrorists was destroyed in military operation in al-Ba’ajeen neighborhood and ISIS position was hit in al-Urafi neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
Homs
A military source said in a statement to SANA that the Syrian Air Force carried out strikes against a fortified position and movements of vehicles for ISIS terrorists in Unq al-Hawa and Wadi al-Mesk in Jub al-Jarrah area 80 kilometers to the east of Homs.
The airstrikes resulted in destroying rocket launching pads and vehicles carrying terrorists and various machineguns.
Later on Tuesday, SANA’s reporter quoted field sources as saying that an army unit carried out accurate strikes against a hotbed for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Rastan city 20 kilometers to the north of Homs, killing one of the organization’s leaders named Amin Sameer al-Ruz aka Abu Malik along with his group which included 8 terrorists.
Sources on the ground reported the death of terrorist Azzam Mustafa al-Lattouf who was the leader of the central committee of “Ahrar al-Cham movement” along with military leader in the movement known as Abu Abdullah al-Jolani and a leader in Jabhat al-Nusra named Mahmoud Daher al-Khatib along with four of his group members.
Hama
A military source said that strikes by the air force against fortifications and gatherings of terrorist organization to the north of Oqeirbat road and to the north and east of al-Mufaker village in Hama countryside destroyed a number of vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, and killed a number of terrorists.
Aleppo
Army and Armed Forces units, in cooperation with supporting forces, carried out during the past few hours special operations which resulted in establishing control over a number of blocks of buildings and the departures bus stop in the direction of al-Lairamon and al-Khalidia north of Aleppo city.
A military source told SANA that this was achieved after inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment upon terrorist organizations, and that now army units are directly overlooking al-Castelo Road.
The sources added that army units also cut off the road of al-Lairamon/al-Castelo/al-Jandol, and they are currently chasing down the fleeing terrorists in Aleppo’s northern countryside.
SANA’s correspondent in Aleppo said that the operations of army units and supporting forces resulted in establishing control over al-Castello resort and swimming pool, a number of factories, and al-Lairamon bus stop which are adjacent to the road in the direction al-Lairamon roundabout.
The correspondent said that after establishing control, army units established positions and fortifications on al-Castello road, thereby covering the entire road and tightening their grip on terrorist groups who lost their supply lines through the road.
On a relevant note, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social networking pages the death of terrorists Yassin Najjar aka Khattab, whom they identified as a military leader in “Abu Amara battalions.”
Daraa
An Army and Armed Forces unit killed all members of a terrorist group belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Meqas al-Hajar area to the northeast of al-Yadouda town in Daraa province.
A military source said that army units targeted with precise fire Jabhat al-Nusra hideouts in the village of Jamrin 43 km east of Daraa city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and munitions.
The army also carried out operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa city, destroying a vehicle they were using and a fortified position southeast of al-Karak reservoir and a command centers and vehicles in al-Arbaeen neighborhood.
The source added that another army unit carried out accurate operations against Jabhat al-Nusra hotbeds which resulted in destroying a command center and a gathering of terrorists to the east of Busra Square in Daraa al-Mahatta area.
Sweida
An Army and Armed Forces unit targeted with precision fire fortified positions of ISIS terrorists in Rajm al-Dawla village in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province, a military source stated.
The source said that this resulted in leaving all members of the terrorist group dead or injured and destroyed all their weapons and munitions.
The source also said that an army unit clashed with a number of ISIS terrorists who attempted to attack a military position in Bard village in the province’s southwestern countryside, which resulted in killing and injuring most of the terrorists, while the remaining ones fled towards the Badiya desert.
