Mrs. Asma al-Assad makes video calls with three Syrian children receiving treatment in the UAE

Damascus, SANA- Mrs. Asma al-Assad made a video call with the girl child Sham Sheikh Mohammed, nine, whose a number of her family killed in the earthquake hit Syria on February 6 and now she is receiving treatment at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi.

Mrs. Asma al-Assad made a similiar video calls with Ali Tafouh, nine, whose his parents killed in the earthquake, and with the child’s father Ali Yousef, 12, who receive treatment at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The three children, along with other children from Aleppo, Idleb, and Lattakia, receive attention and direct follow-up of Mrs. Asma al-Assad, were flown to Abu Dhabi more than two weeks ago to complete their medical treatment after being infected with crush syndrome due to the quake.

The treatment of children is carried out thanks to a humanitarian initiative by her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, the President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood ,the honorary president of the UAE Red Crescent.
