Temperatures to rise, fog expected in inland areas   

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise to become around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southwesterly air currents in all layers of atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little opportunity of showers over different areas across the country, while the weather attends to be cold at night over the mountains, warning of fog in some inland areas.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in height.

Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in a number of Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus and it countryside 13 mm, Sweida 8 mm, Daraa 2 mm, Homs 3 mm, Hasaka 11 mm, and Deir Ezzor 15 mm.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10/21, Daraa 12/21, Homs 11/23, Hasaka 13/25, Tartous 18/28, Aleppo 10/23,  Idleb 8/22, Deir Ezzor11/26.
