Syrian-Jordanian Technical Economic Committee meetings kick off in Amman

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian-Jordanian Joint Technical, Economic, and Trade Committee began its works Monday in Jordanian Capital City, Amman.

On the Syrian side, the committee is chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Eng. Basil Abdul Hannan, and Industry Ministry Secretary-General, Dana Al-Zoubi on the Jordanian side.

The two sides affirmed their commitment to boost economic and trade cooperation and overcome obstacles to developing bilateral relations in a way that would serve their common interests.

They also underlined the significance of bolstering the prospects of partnership, which would positively impact the industrial, trade, and investment sectors in both countries.

These meetings come as a part of a series of ongoing meetings between Syria and Jordan, as part of efforts exerted to develop joint cooperation in various economic fields.
