Riyadh, SANA-The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Al-budaiwi, affirmed the Council’s support for Syria and its brotherly people following the wildfires that swept through Lattakia provincee, causing damage and losses.
Al-budaiwi, as reported by the “SPA” agency, expressed his sincere solidarity and condolences to the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, and his hope that this ordeal and difficult humanitarian situation will be overcome, wishing safety for the citizens and a speedy recovery for the injured.
The Secretary-General of the Council also expressed his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to overcome this challenge and to continue the path of reconstruction and recovery, in a way that fulfills their aspirations for security, stability, and prosperity.
