During the meeting Sunday, minister Anjarani affirmed the Syrian government’s desire to build bridges of communication with the Qatari government to develop the work system within its direct jurisdiction, thus contributing to raising the efficiency of local administration projects being implemented by the ministry.

Anjarani added: “There is a need to evaluate national expertise and develop projects, programs, activities, and technical committees to later move to practical implementation, especially since local administration has a special status due to its direct contact with citizens.”

The Qatari ambassador affirmed his country’s readiness to provide advice, joint coordination, and conduct inspection visits by relevant authorities in both countries, to serve mutual interests.
